What the heck! Why even adjust the range in the first place? With Mass Drivers OP, Lasers back to beams of death, and Amarr assault Visiam FOTM, with everyone going Heavy... WHY TOUCH THE REP TOOLS?
With the range geting Scotty'd, remove the warpoint cap!
With the increase suit armour base per racial suit for Heavys remove the war point cap!
Post 1.8, just remeber what I have written... it will be a huge negatice impact for all, and no one even understands.
So taking two completely useless weapons and making adjustments to them to try and make them useful again makes them OP?

Point, Counter point, off topic to Rep tool range halved, scanners (yes those things) nano hives that bust when you take 1 grenade, proto uplinks that are 15 Seconds unless you are in an Amarr suit... NEVER before has a single piece of hardware been so disadvantaged like the equipment chanes across all equipment JUST because you are not in that racial suit, and ACTUAL logibros/sis not pseudo slayer logi bs that has been used out of frame context to detriment of purpose in general will be extinct and definatly not worth specing into Imo.
The idea is to make it that you pic a racial suit based on a single piece of equipment that you want to specialize in, and at the highest level you get better performance than used to be possible.
I don't like it either. It doesn't make sense for gameplay or from any semblance of verisimilitude.
So the Minmatar are the only ones that develop repair equipment, and only the Caldari bother to resupply their ammo?
It's dumb and arbitrary, and I hope they change it in the future. You shouldn't be forced to use only one piece of equipment based on what race you choose.
